The forthcoming ABS-CBN teleserye, FPJ's Batang Quiapo, will feature Ivana Alawi and Coco Martin in the lead roles. Martin, who is also one of the producers, will helm the production.
Alawi will portray the part of Bubbles, an enigmatic woman who meets Tanggol, played by Martin. As they negotiate Quiapo's perilous environment, the two will come together in an unusual alliance.
Alawi and Martin will be collaborating on this project for the first time. Alawi, who declares that she is a major admirer of Martin's work, is thrilled to be a part of the program. .
